Return to you

From 9000 miles away
I'm rushed back into your arms
Your gentle form and soft skin
A den I nestle myself easily into

It doesn't feel fair
That after so many months
Out there where the heat
Just smothers
That I should suddenly
Once again
Have you
My warm-bodied woman
Back in my arms
I want to wake up to us
Like this
From here on out
For I would trade
The world's exotic allure
For one morning
Of nuzzling up to you
